National Science Foundation, Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GFRP) Workshops

The NSF GRFP is a prestigious fellowship program for early-career graduate students who demonstrate the potential to make impactful research contributions in STEM or STEM education. The five-year fellowship provides three years of financial support with an annual stipend of $37,000. The Center for Research and Creative Activity will be hosting a 2-part workshop series on best practicing for applying.

Who Should Attend: Juniors and Seniors; 1st and 2nd-year graduate students; graduate program coordinators, and academic and research advisors who will provide letters of recommendation.

This virtual presentation will be led by an NSF Program Director from the Division of Graduate Education who will provide an overview of the program and answer your questions.

Workshop 2

Workshop and Panel Discussion
Friday, September 6th
10:00am-12:00pm MST
Bergquist Lounge, Student Union Building

This in-person workshop will have a panel of previous awardees and reviewer faculty who will share their insights on what makes for a competitive application. The workshop will close out with an overview of the support and resources available to Boise State students putting together applications.
