Step Details
1. Project Request Intake PMO Project Request Form
2. Discovery – Conduct interviews to complete the business case
– Score project for size and prioritization
– Determine if this should be a project or another solution meets the business needs
– Add project to the prioritization matrix and project portfolio
3. Review with OIT Resource Managers – Review project prioritization and project portfolio drafts
– Provide business case details
– Discuss availability and confirm commitments for project resources
– Resources could include development, accounts, security, communications, ops, customer care
4. Develop Quarterly Project Roadmap – PMO updates project portfolio based on size and prioritization scores
– Provide project portfolio to ITPC and Executive Team
5. Project Planning Begins – Assign PMO resources
– Organize project team and stakeholders
– Begin project processes
