To comply with federal regulations, Regence, the university’s medical plan provider, has mailed the annual COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act) notice to employees who are currently enrolled in a university medical plan.
This legally required notice outlines the right to continue health coverage under COBRA following a qualifying event, such as a change in employment status. No action is necessary unless additional information about COBRA continuation coverage is desired.
