New programs in the College of Innovation and Design: Request for proposals

The College of Innovation and Design seeks proposals for new degrees, certificates, and courses. The college invites faculty from across campus to submit ideas for compelling, interdisciplinary academic programs.

The proposal deadline is June 30.

“With several of our programs graduating to homes in other parts of the university, CID’s work isn’t done,” Dean Gordon Jones said. “Now it’s time to reach out to our faculty and continue to reimagine the way we teach, learn, and research with an eye towards the needs of our local community.”

The college’s LEAD certificate program and its Vertically Integrated Projects program will both move from CID – LEAD to the School of Public Service, and VIP to the Institute for Inclusive and Transformative Scholarship.

“This annual RFP process provides our faculty with the opportunity to pursue their innovative ideas and grow our capacity to serve our students and the community,” said Tony Roark, interim provost and vice president for academic affairs.
